PIIC has recently added Central IU 10 to its list of participating IUs.  This comes weeks after LIU 18 came on board with PIIC. As well as augmenting services in PIIC participating IUs with IU PIIC mentor positions, PIIC is also providing mentor support to the Hazleton Area SD and Eastern Lebanon County (ELCO) SD. Offering support to individual school districts creates a unique opportunity to differentiate the PIIC model and to study the role of the instructional mentor in various venues.

Welcome to the newest PIIC mentors: Jessica Jacobs will provide support to LIU 18, Kathy Yorks will provide support to IU 10, and Gen Battisto will provide support to the Hazleton Area SD. All of these mentors are former PA High School Coaching Initiative (PAHSCI) coaches and/or PAHSCI mentors. In addition, IU PIIC Mentor Nancy Neusbaum will offer her support to the Elco SD’s instructional coaching team.
