Ellen Eisenberg, PIIC Executive Director, was recently published in the International Literacy Association's (ILA) The Engaging Classroom.   The Coaching Cycle: Before, During, and After includes a description of what a Before-During-After (BDA) cycle looks like in practice and addresses how working through the BDA cycle of consultation helps teachers and coaches to effectively identify areas of strenth and need as a form of embedded professional development.
